Privacy This Slack bot relays only — your prompts run on the user's Mac via the local /socrates daemon (Gemma 4 E4B 4-bit MLX, on-device). Slack receives the prompt to forward it to your machine and renders the daemon's reply. No model weights or wondering-log entries cross the network. Inference traces are not stored by the bot. To go fully offline, run the macOS app directly — the bot is a convenience layer, not the source of truth.
